DAY 1: BWINDI FOREST NATIONAL PARK
Meet your driver guide at your lounge in the morning (after breakfast) and start a 7-hour journey south of Uganda to Bwindi national park. There will be several stops to enjoy the scenery and have lunch. Once you get to Bwindi, refresh, shower and enjoy the evening with friends around the hotel.
DAY 2: GORILLAS TREKKING – BATWA PYGMIES VISIT
Briefing for gorilla trekking takes place at 7:00 am by a Ranger at the Bwindi Park head offices. the briefing which is an overview of what to expect during the gorilla trekking. The Rangers will take into consideration your overall fitness. tracking is challenging but you will find the experience awesome once you see the primates. It is always amazing to watch these family mountain gorillas spend hours just watching the little ones roll around and play and curious – don’t be surprised if they come too close to you. While with the gorillas, its important to listen to instructions from your guide. Never make sudden movements while with mountain gorillas.
Afternoon, you will be led back to the starting point where our guide will be waiting to take you back for lunch at your hotel. You will head out to visit the Batwa pygmy cultural community in the evening. The Batwa originally lived in the forest but often had conflicts with the gorillas. Dinner and overnight at lodge
Day 3: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK.
Wake up have breakfast then with your luggage embark on your transfer to Queen Elizabeth national Park for a period of 4 hours. En-route to the park you view the Mountains of the Moon (Mountain Rwenzori) at a distance as well as lunch. On reaching the Park, enjoy a Game Drive along the various tracks in the park watching Wildlife animals wandering around the Savannah habitat. After proceed to check-in your lodge for Dinner and Overnight.
DAY 4: MORNING GAME DRIVE – AFTERNOON BOAT CRUISE
Wake up have breakfast then transfer to enjoy a morning to Midday Game Drive along the various tracks in the park watching wildlife animals roam around their natural Savannah Habitat. Break off for delicious lunch then later transfer to the Kazinga Channel to enjoy a Boat Cruise which offers you views of schools of Hippo and crocodiles beneath the waters, transfer back to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight.
DAY 5: TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA
You will wake early to take breakfast before heading back to Kampala in time for your departure flight or be dropped off at your hotel
